Hello! I am a fifth year PhD student in the economics department at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. My research broadly focuses on the impacts of natural disasters on population dynamics. I enjoy tinkering with publicly available data and coming up with creative ways to use environmental data to enhance existing streams of literature. Outside of the economics department, I am also affiliated with the Center for Demography and Ecology (CDE), the Center for the Demography of Health and Aging (CDHA), and the Collaborative for Reproductive Equity (CORE Lab).
Aside from working on my research, I enjoy spending time with my dog, testing new recipes, tending to my garden, and boating on Lake Wingra.
